Symbol Plus rear lightbulb
Has anyone any idea how you access the offside rear light cluster to change a bulb?

Re: Symbol Plus rear lightbulb
I might be wrong with my thoughts but the Symbol is almost the same layout as the Duetto. On ours you could get to the o/s lights through the fridge vents.
Be warned there may be sharp edges in there. I think they used a tin opener to cut out for the fridge vents.

Thanks Paul, but it’s a much later model (2020) so looks quite different. He is waiting for AS to get back to him now!

Re: Symbol Plus rear lightbulb
I think I recall reading about this in the past and that access to the rear light clusters was awkward. The cabinetry extends almost to the rubber seal at the rear doors so access has to be from within the relevant kitchen base unit for the offside cluster and from within the shower room for the nearside. For the latter there are removable white plastic caps to the RHS of the wc facing aft.
I imagine it must be a right old faff, and all to create a large L-plan kitchen (with coffee maker included).

Re: Symbol Plus rear lightbulb
What a load of poncing about, in the older Symbols one just removes two screws in the light cluster, pull out the bulb housing, replace bulb, SIMPLES!!
This is just one of the many procedures that make me hesitant to update my van!

Symbol plus rear lights
I am the friend of old Womble with the rear light problem on my symbol plus, manual state that there should be two holes in the rear of the kitchen unit to gain access but there isn’t. Myself the main dealers and the garage who are trying to fit a tow bar are getting no reply from auto sleeper despite many phone calls. Advice needed on where to drill the holes!!

Re: Symbol Plus rear lightbulb
Sounds like they forgot to drill the holes and are now too embarrassed to return your calls. Hope you get it resolved.
