I need to change the hab battery under the bench seat.  Is this possible with just the gas struts on max or do they need removing please.

Should be possible with struts in place but battery will be heavy. Struts only need clips at bottom knuckle removed then arm comes away from frame, allows seat base to open past 90degrees. Reattaching is reverse, push on strut then Reattaching clip

Not easy to see clips perhaps I have a different type but battery securing clamp looks easy to remove which may allow box to slide over

Just renewed mine . Once the strap is off the box is loose and will come nearer the side . I lifted my battery out and fitted a larger one quite easily .
