Topaz T5 o/s rear light cluster access.
Any one got any info on how to access the off side rear light cluster on a T5 Topaz??
The removal of the hardboard panel with the locker door in would seem to be the way.
Anyone done this?
I imagine the the T4 may have been similar.

On a T5 the rear light clusters are fixed from outside. If you lift the tailgate, you should see deep recesses for the fixing screws. From memory they are just crosspoint, not Torx. When free from the fixings, they simply unplug and you can do a bulb change on the bench.

Yes - as I recall there are a couple of pegs which fit into "keyholes" so it should shift a small distance away from the centre of the van, and it will then pull out backwards. The plugs can be a bit of a pain to undo - they have a counter-intuitive clip, and a waterproof seal around them which can stick if they haven't been removed for a while.
