Aqualean Drinking Water Hose CHV-0021

Just thought I would share this in case anyone is interested, purchased this drinking water fill up hose a while back which is excellent quality and featherlight in weight.. have used it a number of times for filling our onboard tank when arriving on site, it unreels easily and the connector is easy to connect to taps on sites and it's easy to reel up again.

When ordering I thought I don't need a 7.5m hose but if filling up from the opposite side (as you seem to a lot) it reaches nicely around the back of your vehicle and is a perfect length. Don't know how they managed to make such a high quality hose that weighs so little but it weighs virtually nothing. Not that expensive either, has a lifetime guarantee and is available reasonably priced from both eBay & Amazon.

Hi CC, is the fitting that goes to the tap threaded and if it is how do you connect to a non threaded tap....cheers...Algy

Hi algy.... It only fits threaded taps, all taps I've encountered so far have been of the threaded type if not I have a shorter push on hose that I'd use if I had no choice.... maybe a push on connector by Hozelock and a threaded adaptor would do the trick in that situation.
