Engine replacement needed
Hi all. Due to total engine breakdown I need a replacement. Does anyone know where I can find a Peugeot Boxer 1.9td engine code D8C (DHX) to fit my Peugeot Symphony Autosleeper? Ian.

If you’re happy to do any work needed yourself, there are plenty of scrapyards in Cornwall. Combellack and Orchards are just two.

I have been told there are reconditioned and reconditioned. Depends what has been done and not just a degrease job.

Always buy reputable and ensure your getting what’s needed … full or short engine recon.

Is there any cylinder head damage? EG Bent valves from a cam belt break?
If not, then a short recon may be all you need?
What caused the failure? If oil loss head may still be useable?
