Water heater
I was wondering where I can buy a refurbished carver cascade2 water heater. The gas module is faulty.
The habitation check also highlighted the hot water tap in the kitchen won’t switch off. Possibly the micro switch.
Can anyone suggest suppliers? Thanks

Re: Water heater
Hi,
I doubt if you’ll find a complete reconned unit. You can find second hand ones on Fleabay but condition will be a bit of an unknown and they are usually silly money. Probably better to see about getting a good burner unit and fixing (or getting fixed) the one you’ve got.
https://www.arcsystems.biz/ (other places exist).
If you want to go mad and get a new heater Propex do an adaptor plate. Obviously you’d need to check the dimensions are OK and it actually fits in the available space.

As Paul said there is no microswitch on the taps, the pump switches off when all the taps are closed by sensing the pressure increase, so if the tap is stuck open it would never switch off. Sounds like a problem with the tap itself.
Incidentally you would be better posting this in the “Van Conversions” or “Technical” sections. More people are likely to read it there.
Brod.
