TV Brackets
Hi all,
I have chosen my tv for my Kingham, and the one I have that comes with the the Kingham (unfitted and new), tbh, looks rubbish,so I was wondering what TV brackets have you guys got for your Kinghams?
Also as you can have a tv either side of the wardrobe, how many of you have fitted 2 tv's,and if so,is it better or not,to have two?
Your thoughts and experience will be gratefully recieved,
Thank you

Re: TV Brackets
Wondering about this myself, at the moment I have and extending arm tv bracket for the bedroom and see if it’s ok to fold out for viewing from the front. Could be persuaded to go different.

Re: TV Brackets
They do look flimsy, we don’t use a TV so it’s gone in the box with all the other bits provided that we don’t use! It’s a big box….

Re: TV Brackets
We had one with our van but don't use it, prefer to put tv out of sight when not in use.
Having to park on the road at home thieving scrotes don't need any encouragement.
Even on holiday you will leave the van unattended at some time.

Re: TV Brackets
I have fitted two brackets on either side of the wardrobe. On the bedroom side is a vision plus quick release flush fitting type. It’s mounted on a piece of wood to enable the tv to just clear the switches and sockets when sliding it up off the mounting plate. I can still lift the bed up with the tv in position (just). On the other side is a vision plus short arm swivel bracket, also with a quick release plate fitted. The tv has the other part of the quick release plate which is common to both brackets. I usually leave the TV on the bedroom side as it can’t be seen due to the dark windows. It’s also easy to remove the TV if you prefer. Moving the TV for night time or daytime is simple. Both brackets have a piece of plywood and penny washers inside the wardrobe to give the mounting some strength. I’ll try to attach some photos.

Re: TV Brackets
Hope this makes sense. I had to play around with the mounting plate above the bed. Just enough thickness in the wood to enable the TV to clear the switches, but not too much so as to enable the bed to lift up. I could have used a flush fitting on the other side as well but I went for the swivel as it made for better viewing from different seats. It’s all been fine for the last 4 years and hadn’t fallen off yet. Tim

Put mine up so it swings out from the bed area and viewable from the front. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
