Re: water supply
Presume you were using external Whale pump, if so I believe there is a filter at the van end of the hose that can clog up and may need cleaned

Re: water supply
The filter is a small piece of removable metal gauze on the inlet side of the solenoid valve fitted close to the back of the Whale water inlet socket. The filter is needed to protect the solenoid valve.

I have tried many times to remove that filter and never succeeded. But I have cleaned the chalk and grit from it. Now that I have a Shurflo pump with its own filter the inlet filter is less necessary. But how did you remove yours without destroying it?

Re: water supply
I was wrong - you can't remove the filter. The whole solenoid has to be removed to clean the filter. I was confusing myself with another piece of gauze that I removed from my last caravan.inspiredron wrote:I have tried many times to remove that filter and never succeeded. I have permanently removed the solenoid from my system to remove a point of failure and a place where water is trapped and to give the external Whale pump a better chance. The pump still switches off when the tank is full.
