WXL sleeping bags or duvet
Just wondering what people prefer when using the single bunks in a WXL. Iv'e tried sleeping bags but found then restrictive and am now thinking of single quilts. There are advantages in that the quilt covers will be much easier to wash at home in the washing machine as opposed to taking the sleeping bags to the Laundry at £12 a go each time. Also I think the quits might be more comfortable. Does anyone have thoughts on what they prefer please.

Thought I had seen something about this on another forum..Warwick Duo and XL Facebook group. Seems you have had nearly 40 responses to the same question which seem to split between sleeping bags, duvets and Duvalay

We use double quilts as open sleeping bags works a treat

We've always found sleeping bags absolutely fine. They do vary in size, mind, and ours are king size.

I use a double bed size duvet. Folded with half under and half over. It has the advantage of using duvet inner of whatever tog rating suits the weather conditions. Also easy to launder.

Bags V Duvets
Yes, I find it usually better to spread a question since there are people who do not read one forum but not another, That way more people see the question than if it were on one forum only. Common practice by others too. If seeking a view, better to seek the view of a many people as possible.Bilbobaggins wrote:Thought I had seen something about this on another forum..Warwick Duo and XL Facebook group. Well thanks all, Ive moved over to duvets and find them much better than bags and they take up much less storage room.

Duvalay for us the best investment we have made,so easy to get in and out of,and so much more comfortable to sleep on.also good when we overnight at our daughters and sleep on her bed setee.we brought a spare set of covers so always ready to go,quick to change once you have changed them a couple of times

Two Duvalays for us and we love them. Wish we had discovered them when we used to caravan.
