Draw catches Empty Draw catches

Post by Madmac Mon May 02, 2022 8:47 am

Hi our Beckford is fitted with the plastic draw and cupboard push button catches which I am assuming is common across all the motorhomes
Being 7 years old they are starting to break. My problem is trying to source them here in New Zealand as the AS agent is taking months to get them out of AS.
Can anyone please advise a brand and part number for them and where I can get them from in the UK or better still a replacement retro fit catch that is made of metal which will not break as readily
CheersĀ
Geoff

As far as I'm aware there are no "brands" as such for these. They are generic, made as cheaply as possible in China. I just buy them on Ebay, where they are cheap enough, and just accept that I have to replace them every now and then.

I once compared the internals of an A/S supplied one with an Ebay one and I could find no difference in quality.

Be warned though (if you're not already aware) that there are several "standard" sizes that all look pretty much the same in photos - on more than one occasion I've bought the wrong size...
