Thetford toilet C220
I am a newish owner of a 2019 AS Broadway EK. (Ginny)
We have not yet taken it out, but one thing that seems to be a problem is the height of the the toilet seat.
My wife is 5ft nothing and her legs dangle when she manages to get on the seat. Has anyone experienced the same problem? and how did you overcome it.
I thought about putting my wife on a stretching machine but that turned out to not be an option.
Another idea was to construct a raised buckboard but this could be a trip hazard.
Any ideas?
Thanking you in advance.

Hi Cymro.
Thank you for your reply, and thank your wife.
The problem is that my wife is 75, but it would be a laugh watching her in high heels.

Re: Thetford toilet C220
Sorry, Billy Boy - my reply was a bit facetious.
My wife (who is also 75 - and doesn't wear platform heels either!) mentioned that she has a similar problem when travelling in the front PAX seat, unless it's tilted forward.
As to the WC and your original question, I don't know if you use levelling wedges, but if so perhaps you could store one of them in the bathroom, upon which your wife could rest her feet. Or another thought is the little plastic step which our grandson (now aged 5) used to use when spending a penny. Can pick one up at a charity shop, usually.

Hi Cymro.
Apologies for late response, just back from model railway club.
Very interesting ideas, will try them and come back.
Take care. Billy Boy

My Wife rests her feet on a polystyrene block wrapped and sealed in a plastic bag (its not weight bearing just to sit comfortably when needed.
In the front passenger seat she found a footrest that office workers use under their desks (apparently) the foot part rocks back and forth.

Hi Pete.
Thank you for your response.
Some good ideas there, will try those as well.
My daughter has an under desk footstool which she used during “Lockdown”. We will try that, and the foam idea also worth a go.
Speak soon.
Bill

Hi Pete.
The footrest worked well and will be useful for dual purposes, as mentioned by you. I have looked at them on various selling sites and have seen one which has two height options.
Thank you again for your help.

Hi Cymro.
I have tried your ideas which worked but not quite what her in doors wanted. Thank you again for your help.
Hopefully speak again. Like your sense of humor.

Re: Thetford toilet C220
Thanks, BB.
I'd suggested those possible solutions because (a) the height of the WC cannot be adjusted, so in the alternative the answer must be something a few inches high which can rest on the floor, and which can be easily removed; and (b) it would be best to use something which you already carry, rather than adding further weight. Do you carry a small toolbox / drill case?
