Al Ko Air Top Suspension
I have recently purchased a Symbol fitted with Al Ko Air Top suspension. I understand how to top it up but is there an optimum setting to start with ? Any comments would be welcome. Many thanks. Bill

Hi Bill
1.5 to 2.5 bar, my Warwick is sitting on 1.5 bar currently, when loaded up with water and touring kit ,it's bumped up to 2 bar. Others will give their suggestions.

It depends how bouncy you want it. It’s a personal preference, hence why it’s adjustable. On my gauges the green zone is 2 bar to 4 bar, and I just use 3 bar, right in the middle. I’ve tried it on 2 bar and the ride was too bouncy for me.

It is vital to set the pressure on level ground, especially side-to-side level, if not the pressure will be way out in use.

After setting the pressure on level ground then put a block of wood or drive on a levelling ramp with just one rear tyre then look at your pressures and you will see a change in the pressures
