Leisure Battery Power Loss
Hi
I have just purchased a New Broadway FB, I noticed the Leisure battery was down to 10V so i charged it with my 240v lead, till it was showing 12v then disconnected the lead to find no power in the motor home everything is off, as this is my 1st Auto sleeper not sure what I need to do ?

First of all I suggest you familiarise yourself with this forum:
https://www.autosleeper-ownersforum.com/t541-new-members-read-before-saying-hello
Then I suggest you contact the dealer who sold it to you. I could make suggestions of things to look at but without any knowledge of your expertise of electrics and motorhomes that is not a good idea.

Re: Leisure Battery Power Loss
12V is the lowest you’d ever want it to be. If it’s a newish van I’m surprised you haven’t had a call from the Sargent control centre because they tend to phone as soon as the leisure battery voltage drops below 12V.
It should be over 13V when on charge, and 12.6 or more when the mains is turned off. If you disconnected it because it said it was at 12V while the mains was still connected, it’s still a long way from fully charged.

I had pretty much the same in my Corinium, took it back to the dealer - it was a 20A fuse that came off the leisure battery on a flying lead - I have no idea why it blew however the issue started after the engine just cut out when I stopped for a roundabout, the engine then just restarted like I had stop/go but I'm pretty sure I don't have it.

If you have lithium battery then there was an advice sent to dealers to change the fuse to 25 amp due to this problem.wilksy wrote:I had pretty much the same in my Corinium, took it back to the dealer - it was a 20A fuse that came off the leisure battery on a flying lead - I have no idea why it blew however the issue started after the engine just cut out when I stopped for a roundabout, the engine then just restarted like I had stop/go but I'm pretty sure I don't have it.

Thanks Guys, its sorted it was the 25amp Vehicle fuse that had blown I have replaced it and it seems ok, but not sure why a 25amp fuse would of blown.
I would like to apologize for not introducing myself properly ( which I have done now) I have just moved into a brand new house and the boiler is not working, so we decided to get away for a couple of days in my 4 week old very expensive Motor home to find no power, was the final straw, and waiting for Marquis to get back to me 50 hours later, I was feeling very frustrated as you can appreciate.
