Chatsworth Rally 27th May to 31st May

HbLook After much trial and tribulation the Chatsworth Golden gates rally is finally booked. 
The advert will be in the April/May magazine.

£10 per night plus £5 rally fee, or £2.50 for singles.
The site is the Golden Gate entrance and a mile from Chatsworth House and the CMC site.

Green field. Only water and Elsan. No bins. Good flat roads to drive around the estate. Excellent walks with deer and sheep free range. Dogs on a leash at all times. Tow off on weekdays. Nearby bus stop to local towns. Several great restaurants right outside.  Activities planned. Outstanding parkland.

I have been asked to point out that this is just advice for those who showed an interest in the details of the rally last year, and no one can actually book until it appears in the ASOC magazine. I’m sure all the long standing members appreciate that fact. However if anyone has any queries I don’t see why the details should  not be available.

Glad it's back on, it was listed then removed so I did wonder. Hopefully I'll get on it.

The above is a picture our marvellous volunteer Assistants, Glynn and Sue Tomkins took. Let’s hope they go on to run their own rallies next year.
Thanks to all the jolly campers. Pity about the cold weather and the tent blowing away, but the Pimms Night and the bingo went down better than we expected.
Wildlife fans spotted deer, hares, badgers and a parrot in the most beautiful of surroundings.
Possibly we may do it again next year.
