Truma sensor Bathroom door Freshwater tank
Hi,
Have a Warwick XL from 2017 Fiat Ducato and was curious to know if anyone knows where the sensor for the Truma heater is placed. The panel with the round knob is above the side door. Also to get a more even distribution of heat I keep the bathroom door open when heating is on but want a more permanent solution. Was thinking of mounting one or two ventilation grilles or maybe a round window with frosted glas that can be opened. If anyone has any suggestion I would love to hear. Also there is right now a fresh water tank of 70 litres. Does anyone know which brand it is? Would probably like to mount a bigger one. Is that something that anyone has done and if so what tank did you buy?

On my Duo the Truma sensor is on one of the rear pockets at the end of the overhead lockers. For more ventilation you can get opening rear door windows at £125 + fitting or DIY. Tanks come from Caktanks.

On my 2014 WXLthe sensor is a round plastic button to the left of the Truma control above the sliding door (and above the cooker). Means it measures temperature at highest point of van at almost furthest point from seating or sleeping, which is where I would have wanted it mounted.
I tend to close off the heating vent in the shower which diverts more air to the other vents.
Can't help re water tank

In our Nuevo the bathroom is the warmest part of the van when the heating is on. This isn't a bad thing as it helps dry things out. It even has a drying rail. As Bilbobagins has said, if a more equal heat distribution is required, the heating vent in the bathroom can be reduced or closed altogether.
