freshwater tank
I know where the tap is to empty the grey water - just by the step on the door side, but I cannot find the tap to drain down the freshwater tank. I don't want to use the freshwater tank and leave with water in over winter. Can anyone tell me where on a 2002 Ford Duetto the tap is and what it looks like ?
Thank you in advance.

Re: freshwater tank
I'm sure someone will pop up with the answer but in the mean time:
Under the van will be two water tanks (and a fuel tank). Follow the pipe from the grey water drain and that tells you which is that tank. Then look all around the bottom of the fresh water tank and you should find the drain pipe that will lead you to the tap.
Don't forget to drain your boiler tank, leave the taps open and take off the shower head. If you don't intend to use the van its safest to drain the toilet flush tank as well (if you have one that is).

Re: freshwater tank
A 2002 Duetto will be on a MK6 Transit and should have the same layout as a MK7. In this case the fresh tank is on the driver's side with the tap towards the rear of the tank. The tank itself is black and the barrel tap is white and is located on the rear wall of the tank. It is quite obvious and you do not have to crawl under the van to operate it. Normally you get the best drain-down when the front of the van is slightly raised.

Hi Ruthnali
C.A.K. Tanks of Kenilworth is probably your best bet. They will even make bespoke tanks if yours is an unusual shape. They are an old fashioned company - which (in my opinion) is often a good thing, as they are not hidebound by what their computer tells them!!

Re: freshwater tank
The other obvious suggestion is to ask A-S themselves, as they do have a good stock of spares (at least that has been my personal experience)
