bathroom sink Empty bathroom sink

Hi everyone , we have a Symbol 2012 . The dropdown sink in bathroom will not stay up especially when van is moving,tried velcro so always leave sink down. Any ideas will be appreciated  confused3

There should  be two 'buttons' , one on each corner. These need lifting up so they give a tighter fit when closed. If you can remove them, put a washer under them before reinserting. Hope that makes sense.

I had this problem. Cut a couple of 1cm strips from a plastic bottle and put these at the bottom of the slots on either side of the sink. Achieves what Paul suggested above.

Check the bottoms of the slots either side that the sink pivots on, both of ours are broken so the sink drops down when stowed so the buttons don't engage properly.
Haven't decided on a solution yet but doesn't warrant the expense of a replacement unit, until then we just live with it!
