Rack on Duetto roof?

Hi,
Has anybody put a roof rack and ladder on their Duetto?

I need to consider options other than a trailer as my wife doesn’t have a tow licence, and it limits options with awning etc.

I've seen quite a few Duettos but never one with a roof rack.

I don't think there would be much of a problem with strength, but you face several other problems: Firstly the roof vents, which it seems you could not avoid covering over. Secondly, it's quite a tall, narrow roof so you won't get a huge amount of space without making it long, which will make loading harder. And thirdly I don't think you could avoid drilling the roof, or modifying the gutter covers.

Had you considered a towbar-mounted rack? There are several different types available now that can allow access to the rear doors, with varying levels of convenience.

Hi, it was only afterwards that I found out she can legally tow, but is limited in weight, I think we may be OK for her to tow the small trailer after all!
