Air suspension
We have an ongoing problem with our air suspension on a 2011 Sussex Duo.
One bag is leaking.I am able to blow it up and it stays within sensible parameters for the day, losing about .5 bar in 24 hours.
On Saturday I had the van booked in to have just the air bag replaced but was unable to complete the job. They are able to undo the bolts holding the 2 U brackets, using a windy gun, but the remaining bolts and allen bolts were all rusted solid. They could have removed the whole unit and then spent hours potentially having to grind off, punch out and whatever else it took with the consequent implications on time and cost.
They could possibly get and replace the complete unit including bracket and bellows but it may possibly be better value to replace the whole set up. Has anyone any experience of either the VB system or the Drive Top system as apparently fitted by AS now?
Moral of the story. Get underneath, oil and grease everything.
