Air suspension
Hi,has anyone had air suspension fitted to the Peugeot boxer,if so does it make the ride any better,I find even small potholes give the van quite a jolt.look forward to any replies

Yes i have fitted air suspension. Others here have as well.
Its a much better ride and can alter the ride height as well.
A worthwhile improvement IMHO.

Best addition to any motor home ! Brilliant ride quality and you can level the van as well. There is only a certain amount of leveling from them but heck does it help.

I have read recent comments with interest. I have an old (1993) Rapport on a Trafic base, the ride on which is not particularly good, but I wonder whether putting in air suspension at this stage may be a bit like carrying out what would normally be a routine operation on an elderly and frail patient, ie likely to cause more problems than it solves and be a total waste of money and effort.
I would appreciate any feedback.

Fitting Air to an older vehicle would likely provide more gains than on a new one.. It would not affect the existing components and might actually give them an easier life .petern wrote:I have read recent comments with interest.
