Rust on drainage channels Empty Rust on drainage channels

Keeping an anxious eye on our T4 Trident for rust in this wet weather and sure enough one of the drainage channels on the roof at the front has started to rust. looks like it has been treated before. Any advice on treatment methods to use would be gratefully received and, although its only a small patch, how to match the cream colour of the original. Thanks.

A pic would be a help Nigel.
Re paint match, even if you knew the paint code the new paint won't be the same colour as yours on the van, yours will have faded over nearly 20yrs.
However most good body shops will be able to photograph the area with a special camera which then creates a code for their mixer which will accurately match your actual colour.
The "small" patch may well prove to be a large patch unfortunately, so may be worth getting above bodyshop to have a look for you??
All depends how good and permanent a fix you want really
