You have to expect these hiccups with new technology. Foot operated pedals are so new after all.

Hi
I have just checked with my dealer and this recall was done at the same time that they changed the rear brake calipers on another recall so it may be worth checking
Regards
Alan

Re: Latest Mercedes-Benz Recall
Our Bourton is in the Mercedes dealer at the moment for the same recall ( the second time in 2 months) and is also having automatic head lighting and rain sensing wipers fitted, which requires a new windscreen and interior mirror. Apparently these should have been on the original build spec and its taken Mercedes 2 years to get round or recalling the vehicle to fit them. It should be home again tomorrow ready for our upcoming trips in August

Re: Latest Mercedes-Benz Recall
Hi Alan,
I had noticed on the dashboard a message saying auto lamps unavailable, but just thought it was not specified on our vehicle, so until the recall came I had no idea that these features should have been installed. My local Merc Truck dealership said there are only 2 UK registered vehicles to be recalled, the rest are in Europe.
Cheers
