'18 Symbol Thetford Fridge Door Security Clip

The Thetford N3080 fridge sits above a small cupboard in our 2018 Symbol, should there be a security catch on the bottom of the door for use when travelling?
Ours doesn't appear to have one and I can't actually see how there would be room for one anyway!

Thetford’s N3000 series fridges have a black plastic locking catch on the top outside edge of the door, as shown in the pictures below.

Yes, thank you for your reply, it was the bottom "security" clip that set us wondering. The Thetford manual refers to it but I couldn't see it on ours, so maybe not all of these are fitted with them, particularly when installed above a cupboard. Our top catch is where is should be, although the little swing out "stay open thingy" has fallen off! 

I’ve never seen a clip on the lower edge, though the freezer unit of a tall fridge/freezer most likely has one, given it’s height.

Although listed for N3080 maybe not used in AS conversions.
No.23 on diagram and list

Probably an option for conversions where the fridge is mounted high up.
