Truma Combi repair Empty Truma Combi repair

At last our Truma Combi 4e is fixed,  new electric elements fitted. 5 hours labour + parts + vat = over £700.
We could have carried on using just gas but with the ongoing removal of refilling points we dont want to use gas when we've already paid for electric on sites.
The technician reported that one outlet from the Combi should have a blanking plug as it is not used (3 outlets, lounge area, front area and washroom) and it simply blows hot air into the area around the combi, no wonder that bed is warm and the heat escapes to the back of the fridge (no wonder my fridge fan is permanently on when we have the heater on even if just for water heating).
Worth anyone else checking that if only 3 outlets are used then the 4th should  be blanked off.
Ordered blanking plug from Magnum.
