Truma Combi 6e Descaling?
Our Kingham has a Truma Combi 6e boiler.
We have had it serviced every year but I have just noticed this in the Truma manual:
"The device must be descaled on a regular basis (at least twice a year).
We recommend the Truma system care set for cleaning, disinfecting and looking after the boiler. Other products – in particular products containing chlorine – are unsuitable."
The Autosleeper Kingham Manual mentions that "limescale must be removed by using chemicals" but gives no advice as to what you should use
I have tried Googling "Truma System Care Set" and cant find anything anywhere.
Just wondered whether others with this model boiler descale on a regular basis and if so what do you use?

I use and recommend Kilrock Descalene, I've also used Elsan freshwater tank cleaner. Use either fed though the fresh water tank and you descale all water components.

Ahh thanks Peter. Without realising it de-scales as well as cleans, I have been using Elsan Freshwater Tank Cleaner regularly... phew can tick that off the list
