Leaking windscreen, sink edgbanding
We have a 18 month old Nuevo and it leaks when driving in the rain from the top of the windscreen. The dealerships say its a Peugeot issue so take it there (that's the first fun bit, finding a dealership that will take a motorhome in ), then i can see them saying well the leak is from the top of the windscreen behind all this extra added stuff so not our problem... i can see this ending in a pass the buck thing. Secondly, the edging in front of the sink is coming away , the sink only been used 3 times... I work in the woodworking industry and this would only happen if the wrong sort of glue is use e.g NOT PU which is the type used for wet areas. Anyone else come across these issues on a less than 2 year old

Back to the dealer then. He sold you the van, he can get both issues sorted. Saying the leak is Peugeot, not AS, is a cop out as that dealer sold you the complete vehicle and not just the hab unit.

It's slightly more complicated, in that you have a choice whether to handle it via warranty, or via your statutory consumer rights.
If you want to handle it via warranty (which will probably be the line of least resistance) then you take it wherever the terms of the warranty say you must take it. It seems from your description to be clearly a problem with the base vehicle, so it does seem reasonable that it should be dealt with by Peugeot.
If you want to handle it via your consumer rights then, as Tinwheeler says, it's an issue for the supplying dealer to resolve. But expect them to put up some resistance if you do....

Welcome to the forum, which Nuevo do you have, is it an EK or ES? If the former, is water leaking through the windscreen or the skylight above. I think your dealer needs to take responsibility to establish the source of the leak. If it is base vehicle issue then you at least know what is required (notwithstanding your problem finding a Peugeot dealer). The sink issue should be more straightforward in terms of who is responsible. Perhaps your dealership could sort the sink and investigate the windscreen leak at the same time?

If it is a windscreen leak it is a peugote dealer issue , a water test should find the leak , the windscreen
Will have to be removed and re bonded ,problem is the windscreen could break on removel ,some dealers pass this job on to a windscreen company . Most windscreen jobs are insurance so could be worth having a word with a windscreen company , they may come out to you ,
