leaking sink tap symbol 2004

Hello I've just bought a symbol es 2004 model and I live in Salisbury, Wiltshire.

The plastic insert is leaking, any ideas where a replacement can be found? Replacing the tap looks like a nightmare job.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I think someone else was asking about tap repairs today, don't know if it's the same type as yours but if you do a scan through today's posts, I'm sure you'll find it.

What type of tap is yours?

I found a post about a similar tap from a Nuevo also 2004 so it may work.

For the record my tap is a single mixer tap in a gold colour.

For the record I solved my tap problem quite easily, I think I was panicking a little when I read stories about the problems of replacing the tap.

I bought a ceramic tap insert form my local caravan shop (£6.99), even cheaper than on ebay!

Off on our first trip on Monday to East Devon.
