Symbol Infill Cushion Help
Hello, I've just purchased a 2004 Symbol.
As seems quite common, it's missing the right and left side infill cushions (we do have the center one).
I've tried autosleeper, but so far they haven't been able to help.
I've searched online and on the forum, and there's a few mentions of people measuring their cushions and sending pictures to other users. However, nobody has actually posted the drawings or dimensions back to the forum.
So, could somebody with a Symbol and a tape measure contact me. I'm happy to do some proper drawings and post them here for future users to have cushions made.
Any help is very much appreciated!
Thanks,
Bart :)

This was posted in October , may still be available if the new owner didn't contact the poster.. Symphony is forerunner of Symbol...

Re: Symbol Infill Cushion Help
When I owned my 2003 Symbol, I never used the infill cushions as I never felt they were needed. The double bed, in my opinion, is large enough without the infills. Carrying them around in the van and taking up valuable storage space was something I wasn't prepared to do.

The 2 single bed configuration is crap without them unless you're 4ft tall. Also, just for general completeness I want to have the set and I'm prepared to have them made, hence my question here.
I'd rather get dimensions from an original part than measure the gaps and take a best-guess as to how they are configured.

Ah, I never used the beds as singles - only ever used it as double as it's more comfortable. Also, as previously stated, I didn't want to use up my storage space carrying things I would never use.

If using as singles you can leave the large centre infill at home to save some storage space.

Just bumping this thread to see if anyone can help.
I'm still after the dimensions of the right and left infill cushions for a Symbol.
Cheers!

Hi
Just wondering if you found the cushion sizes? I purchased a symbol 2003 recently and can measure the infill cushions if required. Realise you asked question a long time ago.

Hello!
Your help would very much be appreciated! Happy to buy you a coffee / beer / donate to a charity of your choice.
Try as I might, I couldn't get anyone to measure their cushions
I'll PM you my email address and we can have a chat.
Many thanks!
Bart

It's not a problem, Bart. Thanks for the PM. I can't PM back as not enough posts. Will gather photos and dimensions when I get a chance.

Re: Symbol Infill Cushion Help
Hi Bart
sorry for delay in getting back.
Both cushions are the same size. The upholstered measurements are 48cm x 35.5cm. The internal plywood backing board of the cushions measures 46cm x 34cm (about 1cm thick).
The right hand cushion (based on your photo in the first post) has a cutout for the drivers seat rail (although corner of cushion still seems to catch top of handbrake). The cutout dimensions are the same as the cutout in the middle cushion (6cm wide 4cm deep 23cm long). The right hand edge of the cutout is 14cm from right edge of backing board.
Think that's everything.

Re: Symbol Infill Cushion Help
Thank you!
As promised, here is the drawing for the cushion. I hope it's of use to someone.
Note that this is currently unverified!
Thanks again to @damo for taking the dimensions for me.
Cheers,
Bart
