Leisure Battery Replacement
Greetings one and all.
It is time to replace my Leisure and Engine batteries.
After reviews I fancy a YuasaL28EFB 75ah for under the drivers seat. Tanya Batteries £100 plus £10 delivery
It is 278mm long, 175mm deep and 19mm high. Problem being that there seems enough room under the seat, but the battery tray put in by AS is only 270 long. Has anyone used one of these slightly oversize batts and has anyone found a work around for the undersized underseat tray? Please. Any other recommendations for a leisure battery?
For the engine battery I fancy a Yuasa 100ah 5YHSB19 5year £100, which should fit OK, and see the life of the van out(and me probably). Any one with experience of these?
Should be able to get the van out on the road anytime now. Really looking forward to it.
Thanks
Peter

Still not done. Either too cold, too wet or too busy.

Re: Leisure Battery Replacement
75Ah is really not a lot for a LB, for example mine is under my seat (Executive not Nuevo) and is 130Ah. There is no battery tray, it just stands on the floor. Assuming there's a way to secure it safely, then I'd look at the biggest one I could get in there?
Your call of course!!

Re: Leisure Battery Replacement
Halfords own brand batteries are made by Yuasa, worth considering as if you get a problem when away from home, you can take it to any Halfords branch.

Thanks Paul. Halfords are more expensive and there is a £15 fitting charge, which is reasonable.
