Leisure battery replacement Empty Leisure battery replacement

Post by Phil Bowen Wed Nov 27, 2019 11:35 am

My leisure battery on my Auto-Sleeper Burford needs replacing. The battery is located under the passenger seat, which I was told should be removed to access the battery. I have managed to get the front seat off but now I have a black metal plate on top of the base of the seat. I cant see any way of removing this plate as what look like alum key sockets are blocked by the bolts holding the seat. How do I proceed to remove this plate?

Does rotating the seat swivel reveal the fixing screws?

I'll go and see but it looks to me as its bolted in the corners of seat base. Thanks for your thoughts

Post 7 by Peter Brown in this thread explains, remove the swivel with the seat is easier.
