If you are removing the whole fitting, then you need to remove the "box" holding the control panel sited above the door on the inside. You will then see the wiring and the point of fastening. Three holes with (probably) 4mm bolts and nuts. You can get a sneak peek if you simply remove the control panel.
If you only wish to change the strip light, that can be done from the outside. The end caps are removable, and the strip will slide out. Cut the wires leaving as much length as possible to attach the replacement wires. Soldered joints with heat shrink cover kept to an absolute minimum diameter so that they pass through the hole. Or do the joints on the inside.
I will post a couple of photos of the fitting.......if I can find my camera. It's an age thing !!

On my 2010 the control panel is not above the door, so removal would appear to have to be done from outside unless its somehow through the internal storage recess above the door.

Sorry that this is a bit disjointed. The key shot is the last which shows the screwdriver inserted (either end) which will push a small cam down and allow a thin blade to separate the end cap.

Re: How to remove Warwick Duo 2010 Awning Light?
I removed the Labcraft Astro by working solely from outside, by sliding off the end caps, cutting the cable directly at the LED strip and sliding out the latter to expose the self tapping fixing screws. The case was also stuck to the bodywork with adhesive.
I replaced it with a Dometic Raintec, which is what AS now fit and which has the advantage of incorporating a rain gutter across the full width of the sliding door.

Is the LED strip component, replaceable?
Can you buy the LED strip as a spare part, separate from the whole assembly?

I don’t think so, but check with Labcraft. You’ll need to count how many LEDs are in your fitting, as the Astro comes in various lengths.
