I just used a brass picture bracket and velcro ,the picture bracket drops in between the frame and door card and the velcro just holds in place ,still able to shut the blinds [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

If you quote your build number from inside the glove box to AS they'll tell you the exact fabric your one has..

10mm mdf and 1inch foam used, got the foam from Boyes shop for £5.99 and just stapled with a heavy duty stapler

Great, thanks for your help. I have a heavy duty stapler, had to buy one to refix the velco to the side panels where the lounge backrests fix which came away when removing them making up the bed. Never moved since and no more staples flying about.FreelanderUK wrote:10mm mdf and 1inch foam used, got the foam from Boyes shop for £5.99 and just stapled with a heavy duty stapler
I am sure AS will get some orders for some matching fabric

Re: Rear window head rest
Good idea - I've been trying to think of a way to create a headrest for my Symbol. As the sleeping position for the double bed is across the van, sitting up in bed means resting your head on the roller blind or on the window. I could probably use a modification of your idea to resolve the problem.
