Water Inlet Cap
Does anyone know where I can get a lockable cap for an 88 Trident please?
Thanks in advance,
Julian.

Re: Water Inlet Cap
Thanks but I'm not sure if any of the parts on page 10 would fit the existing inlet?

Unfortunately I suspect that you will struggle to find a cap to match. The products seem to change regularly over the years, not least because in 1988 they would have been using spigot sizes suited to imperial hoses on the back, and they are now designed for metric sizes. We tried to find exactly the right cap for the filler on our 2005 Trooper - and failed.
So... you might find that you have to remove yours and adapt it to take a more recent style of Fiamma (or other) current model.

Re: Water Inlet Cap
Do you know if the inlet itself is moulded as one part with the surround? It sounds unlikely that it would be, so it may just be as simple as removing the inlet, retaining the surround and modifying the fixings - it won't look as elegant because you will have a flange with screw fixings, but it shouldn't be difficult to do.
You may also need a stepped adaptor on the filler pipe, depending on the exact size that they used originally. Though I would recommend that you replace the pipe back to the tank if you can - they can get very fragile when they have been in that long!

Thank you - I may just opt for a non lockable 40mm push cap.
