Nuevo Cab Grab handle ??
We have a Nuevo ek , and we both find it difficult to get into the passenger side of the cab, as being quite a step up. My Wife is only 5ft 2 and fit and able .
Is there any after market handles / dealer options that anyone can think of , or suggest . Is it the front blinds that stop any pillar mounted handles ?
thanks in advance

Re: Nuevo Cab Grab handle ??
Hi,
I have a problem getting in and out of the cab due to mobility issues, si I had two cab steps fitted by Essen jay of Poole, £350.00 for the pair fitted.
I am picking up a Nuevo in about three weeks and are having them transferred to the new van.
Money well spent and really look good.

When I owned a VW Clubman, I bought and (easily) fitted a grab handle to the windscreen pillar next to the door, on each side. Really useful to haul yourself up and in.
Seems not possible with my Peugeot Nuevo because the Remi cassettes for the windscreen blinds seem to cover any fitting points (if there are any there - I don't know) for grab handles.
Wish there was a simple solution as I can't haul myself using the high level grab handle.

Sorry there was no text, the above are the steps fitted by Essenjay of Poole, I beleive that the design has altered a little bit.

Hi Pete , thanks for the photo , step looks great , also love the chrome door handles are they standard on your M.H or an aftermarket fit . regards N&Mbreakaleg wrote:Sorry there was no text, the above are the steps fitted by Essenjay of Poole, I beleive that the design has altered a little bit.

We have the blue handled one which works well. Cheaper than a step if it works for you!

Hi N&M,
I have to confess, the picture that I used was the one that the suppliers sent me to look at when I asked what the steps looked like, all the photos I have of my van the steps are hard to spot, so unfortunatly I can't answer you regarding the door handles, however, now that you have pointed them out to me I rather fancy them myself. lol
I have seen online some advert for chrome covers for the handle part so I would think that they are available.
The steps have been invaluable for me, I walk with two walking sticks and prior to the steps it was difficult for me to get in or out of the cab especially if there was no kerb to stand on so for me it is one of the best aids I have bought in over forty years of motorhoming.
The steps are being transferred to my new van (when it arrives) and looking at them they are in as good a condition (no rust, bright chrome, and the tread material still intact) after six years on the van,Shouldn't have said that they are sure to fall apart now. lol

Re: Nuevo Cab Grab handle ??
My parents had fitted a grab handle ( same type that is above the door) on the dash for the passenger on one van and then down the side of the windscreen on another van because they needed to avoid the airbag. Drivers side was ok because the steering wheel acted as a help me up!
