Nuevo Ek
My wife and I own a two berth Nuevo EK bought new in 2010. At present the motorhome is on our drive plugged into a garage wall socket and linked to the motorhome via the appropriate cable. However, yesterday I noticed the following. I would very much appreciate members comments.
With the Sargent EC325 power supply unit OFF, but with the electricity supply in the garage-ON, we were able to plug the microwave in and it worked. My wife could plug in the hairdryer and that also worked. When I switched the Sargent
EC325PSU - ON both the microwave and hairdryer continue to work. Is this normal?
If this should not be happening, is it something for me to worry about and should it have been picked up during the Habitation Check which took place on Thursday 17th December at Willersey?
Finally, may I wish all members good health and happiness for 2021!

I think I’m correct on saying that the EC325 has no control of the 240v mains supply.

Re: Nuevo Ek
It’s normal. Although the mains switches are in the control panel it is separate to the 12v systems

Re: Nuevo Ek
That also applies to the EC328. The big red switch only switches the charger on or off. The button on the control panel is what switches 12v habitation on and off. It's actually useful because you can leave a mains electrical device on without continuously charging the battery.

Many thanks to the members for taking the trouble to reply. I am not really a Tech person, so I apologise if the point raised was rather simplistic in nature.
