Nuevo Mk II
I was looking at one of these today in a show room and had a couple of questions but didnt want to ask incase I got pounced on so I wonder if any one could help
1) the socket on the passenger side about midway between the wheels, whats it for? I thought it might be for on board gas supply but there was a large locker on the drivers side labelled 'gas'
2) there is a large 'D' shaped handle under the rear whats that for?
3) how do you fill it with water if you cant get a hose to it (I see a 'whale' connector so I presume that you can fill it with a hose)
4) you used to be able to access the under seat area on the passenger side from outside I notice that you now cannot do this how difficuly is it getting stuff in and out now?
thanks in anticipation

Re: Nuevo Mk II
If it's an ES version there is no outside locker due to the seating arrangement inside.

If it's a Nuevo EK
1. There should be two barbecue outlets together a) Gas b) 240 Socket and a single one which is a tv outlet plate I think aerial/sat/12v
2. I think handle to release the spare carrier so you can get to the spare wheel.
3. There are two ways of filling the fresh water a) by pump b) by inserting a hose I think one input is one side and the other on the opposite side
4. On the EK model there is access to the storeage area under the bed on the offside (driverside uk) If it's a ES model it would not be possible
I hope I was paying attention to the dealer who I have bought my Nuevo from.
Marks out of 10 please!

Re: Nuevo Mk II
Definately a 10 out of ten for speed of reply!
It is an ES, I dont see why that precludes access to the under seat area from outside as the passenger side is a bench seat like what I have in my Nuevo EK.
Been looking for a replacement for my EK but there is nothing that I like more (or even as much) but I need more storage hence my looking at the ES
So the connector I saw is for a barbeque (not that I will ever use it! - nor the external TV sockets for that matter) and I m not a great fan of the pump idea for topping up with water either!
why oh why cant they leave stuff alone?

The handle is for the waste water dump valve, in the daftest possible place right under the van in the centre. Try stopping with that over the drain!!

Re: Nuevo Mk II
The Es had a rear seat each side which slides to form a bench and the bed so there can't be a locker underneath.

Re: Nuevo Mk II
ES = extra sleep/storage = exactly what you are looking for over your EK that should greatly outweigh any non intentional use of tv and BBQ? But great consolation to you is the choice of how the van is filled with water, conventional hose and or whale pump. So many extras = so many choices = Happy motorhoming.
