Re: Spare wheel
Is the spare wheel an MOT requirement? I’m assuming not but since I can’t get mine back on and my MOT is next week,
I’m getting paranoid :). The bolt threads on the spare wheel bracket are damaged and there’s no plastic nuts on Amazon or fleebay with a quick delivery so I’m going to be struggling to get the spare back on!

Re: Spare wheel
I am fairly certain Spare Wheels are not part of the MOT, as some vehicles dont have them.
Why would you want plastic Nuts ? Give the bracket etc a good squirt of WD40

Re: Spare wheel
roli - I’ve wire brushed the bolts and used WD but the threads appear to be damaged. I’ve tried various metal nuts and they won’t go on. When I took the spare off a few months back, it was held on with plastic wing nuts (which broke on removal) so I’ll get some more of those.
