airtronic 12v heater
I had a new airtronic heater fitted in march 2020 is there any way of making it quitter there is a silencer on it.

I would not think so you can get quiet fans but the installed one would have to cope with heat. How loud is it ? you can get dB apps for phones.

As you said it already has the silencer, assume it looks ok, if so that's gonna be it I think

Airtronic heaters (and to a slightly lesser extent the Webasto equivalent) tend to be noisy on startup, but get a lot quieter as the van heats up and the heater can step down to a lower output.
As I understand it, Eberspacher sell a second silencer which (IIRC - I may not) fits on the inlet side, so that there is a silencer on both inlet and exhaust. I never bothered to fit one - I quite liked the initial "747 taking off" noise, though perhaps my neighbours didn't agree...
