I appreciate it is likely to be unproductive, but at the moment I see it as the only way to feed back to Google - probably without any positive result. Anyhow, I still use Goole but simply ignore any ad type results or blatant scam sites as they are usually very obvious.

You can ignore the ad type results, but Google still get paid to serve them up to you anyway. Best solution: don't use Google, for anything!
