Loss Of LPG at the pumps
Hi. We are new to the forum and take delivery of our new Broadway fb in March 21.
In previous Mhomes we’ve always fitted Gaslow. An attraction of AS was the fixed lpg tank.
However two garages in our area are ceasing to provide lpg on pump. Wondered what the medium to long term prospects are. Is there a way of getting lpg into an AS fixed tank other than at a garage? If not what are the options? Would welcome guidance and thoughts on this matter

Re: Loss Of LPG at the pumps
An increasingly common question...
Technically, I can't see how you could fill a tank other than at a pump, others with this sort of arrangement might be able to offer more info.
However, we do have a refillable Gaslow system and am lucky to have a garage on my normal route east or south from home, perhaps, while not having one on your doorstep, you could seek out outlets that you could use on routes in a particular direction...a couple might cover most bases...
Good luck.

This is a good subject.
I have tried to find an up to date "app" (what ever that is) that really is the best up to date LPG filling station finder.
even round our area you ring them up and they say we had that taken out three months ago. The apps I've tried highlight well know service stations only to find they no longer do LPG, or it highlights LPG tank installers and also places that sell only bottled gas.
Any pointers would be useful for the app.
sorry to you Langreed , I've no idea about DIY gas filling etc.

Babian. My lpg eu app can be updated before each use and tells when someone last used a selected station. You may well know this but mention it just in case.
I have found it a good source once updated.

I use 3 apps, Mylpg, Filllpg (no longer available as an app but you can bookmark their website) and AutogasAppUK. All 3 rely on users to keep them up to date, so even if you don't fill up you can update available sites and price. Most are duplicated across all 3 but sometimes you find one that is not on the others.

My lpg app doesn't seem to want to update for some reason after loading. iPad tells me to use my location yes, then will not update app etc. any idea? thanks

Just checked my app and once tapping UPDATE it does so immediately.Thinking maybe some setting on I pad not right, allow location maybe. I would try deleting app and reloading,as a suggestion.

Pleased your sorted babian....was it a reload that sorted it?
I sometimes get apps on my I pad that misbehave and that normally cures it.

Re: Loss Of LPG at the pumps
With Mylpg , you cannot simply add a new station like you can with the other two I mentioned. You can only email the app creator who will add it (eventually).
I found a Shell station that had lpg that was not listed on any of the apps. I added it to all three (by email in the case of Mylpg) . Filllpg removed it within a couple of days as it wasn't provided by Shell. It is attached to Threeways Motorhomes in Abergele. It is a Shell station but all credit to Threeways for finding another supplier for their motorhome customers but no idea why Filllpg won't list it. I can only guess that they confirmed with Shell if lpg was available and got a negative reply.
