02 Symbol.

Hi, On my 02 Boxer Symbol (new to me)as well as the vents on the side of the van there is also a vent under the van which is like a tube with a plastic end on it. When/if the Truma blow heater works the vent under the van seems to be the exhaust vent, and gets very warm. Is this normal? Thanks.

Hi MG, I noticed there were no responses to your query. I have no knowledge of an 2002 Symbol but if it puts your mind at rest the heater on our van is a diesel eberspacher and the flexi stainless exhaust pipe under the van, gets quite hot. It doesn't have a plastic end to it though.
