We don't use any mattress toppers or anything of that kidney and our beds in the Symphony are superbly comfortable.

I also find the bed cushions in my Symphony are very comfy...no memory foam required

Been away up to the Outer Hebrides again and havent been on site. What I was talking about was to lengthen the nearside bed, the front passenger seat could be left facing the rear the bed then becomes longer but the seat is a lower level than the rest of the bed. If it can be raised please let me know. By the way the weather on the Uists and Benbecula was lovely about the only place in Scotland to be dry!!!
On a different note there is a reunion for anyone who worked on the RA Rocket Range Benbecula/South Uist. Reunion on the 24th August at the Dark Island Hotel Benbecula. Let me know if you want any details

Pete,
I missed this one - sorry for the very tardy reply!!
Not surprising though. Checked diary and in the same fortnight we went Skegness > Aberdeen > Warwick > Skegness > York > Aberdeen > Banff > Blackpool > Skegness; the trips included a funeral, two holiday breaks and a visit to AS for repairs!!
Anyway, back to the suggestion of the nearside bed:
1. Never even thought about it but you are correct, it will work but be a bit lower than the rest of the bed!
2. Helen says she is happy with how it is already! (The reason I don't use it is that it is a bit too narrow for my ample girth!)
3. No. Sorry, but I don't know how to raise it! On ours there is a safe fitted underneath so any up and down adjustment is impossible.
Finally, I'm afraid that it's more than a bit late for the August re-union and my own sea service was all MN or Oil and Gas related. In fact the only thing I ever saw that resembled a rocket was a major leak and subsequent explosion on an up-fired John Zink furnace!
Best regards,
Ian

Found them too "clingy" and too warm in summer!
