fly screen broken
Hi, I have a 2003 pollensa and the fly screen on the large off side window has broken loose and just hangs down, is this a easy on the driveway repair or an expensive dealer repair, any ideas?

Re: fly screen broken
This sounds like the problem we had with our fly screen. It is a roller blind held to the inside of the window frame by two little plastic brackets.
To get to the brackets on ours I had to remove the inner window frame. A bit of a task if it’s under a locker like ours but several people have posted about this job.
As a warning I will pass on as before. The roller is under a lot of tension when fitted in the brackets. If it slips the brackets are very sharp and will slice you’re fingers as it flys round. I still have the scars to prove it. !!!

Thanks for the info, did you have to replace the brackets if so where do you get them?
Regards, John.

Yes it was just the brackets we replaced. I think it was Leisure Shop Direct but has been a while since I did the job. I am sure some one else on the forum has done the job recently because they asked me about the job.
