Pedestal table base

We have a Symphony with a small pedestal table that can be fitted into a recessed hole in the floor on the raised cab floor area. Not sure how but we have managed to break off the black cap that fits in the hole when the table is not in use . A bit of the black plastic seems to be stuck in the recess . Does anyone know where we could get a replacement cap ( and how to get the broken bit of the old one out of the recess) thanks

Not sure what is stuck in the hole.  Those caps are hollow but the originals have gripping ridges on the side to hold it in the hole.  If it is just part of the flange that has broken off (which happened to mine letting the cap drop down into the well with nothing to hold to pull it out) then simply drill a small hole and insert a wood screw or self tapper so that you can pull it out with  apair of lplers on the head.

You can get them from eBay but not sure what they call them, just be creative in your searches!

Maybe there's a market for these? (Turned from oak on my lathe)
