Nuevo EK - single beds
Apologies if the wrong forum, please advise if so.
We've looked and seen and sat in a Nuevo EK but the one thing we didn't work out is the length of the seat as a bed "without" using the two driving seats.
We have two dogs and ideally would like them to sleep on the driving chairs at night if poss.
We aren't very tall - 5'5 and 5'7 but I'm not sure if we'd get away with just the bed without chairs.
We don't want the faff of a double but would if it came to it.
Anyone advise the length?

The single beds would be far too short without using the front seats i have a nuevo and 5 foot 6 tall .the double bed is Easy to make up ,but prefer the singles .

Re: Nuevo EK - single beds
The singles are what put us off a Nuevo. This otherwise would have been a great ban for us. We needed two long sofas tht could be used as single beds or indeed made into a double. We wanted both.
We have instead bought a Broadway EL duo. Hopefully this will give us the best of both while still being a small van to drive about. We collect on Friday. Good luck.

18ft 10ins plays 20ft 9ins.
From experience with two vans over 5 years that used the front seats as part of the single beds, it isn't an issue. Your legs just don't notice the difference. If you slept with your head at the cab end you probably would be uncomfortable as the split between cab and rear bench would be around the shoulder/ chest area.

We have for the first time tried sleeping with the single bed option, but do prefer the double which only takes seconds to set up.
We only have the 1 dog a cockerpoo & he sleeps between front seats up by the dash.

I was very dubious about using front seats as part of the bed .we use duvalays and their is no problem or discomfort at all , on our 2014 nuevo their is multiple seat adjustments to alligne seats .so the joint is hardly noticeable.

Nuevo single beds
My husband made 2 fitments that make the front seat level with the bed very comfortable as 2 single beds ,they fit under the bed through the day, don't disturb each other if we get up through the night .

Hi, We are 5'5'' and 5'8''. My wife at 5'5 manages without the front seat while I at 5'8'' prefer to swivel the drivers seat round as far as it will go and slide to meet up with the bed cushion. it helps to raise the font seat a bit as well to get a more or less flat bed so your feet are not going downhill. We both manage to sleep quite well.kdee69 wrote:Apologies if the wrong forum, please advise if so.

Not sure how well it would work with a dog on the front seat, depends how tolerant of each other you are I guess, but I think it could work.
