Warwick Duo Air suspension
Would Warwick Duo owners please advise on what would be an optimum pressure setting for the air suspension units.
The ride quality of our Duo is harsh. I do recall some recent discussion on the topic but cannot locate it.

Mine is currently set at 2 bar, however the van is empty if loaded to max with water etc 2.5, 3 bar.
I have a Thule mounted tow bar rear box for touring .

Re: Warwick Duo Air suspension
According to the manual, min is 1.5 bar, max is 3bar, so anything between those pressures should be ok. I run mine at 1.5bar.
If ride is harsh, consider tyre pressures, but I dont want to get into that minefield, there's about 1000 posts on this, all with different answers!!!
Mine, and mine only, NOT a recommendation, repeat NOT, is 60psi all round.

I run mine at 2 bar, because it’s a compromise between what seems like a comfortable ride, and an easy way of remembering exactly what I set it to when checking.

2 bar for me too
A very, very important point to check is that when setting / checking the pressures, the van must be level side-to-side. If not level, the pressure reading will be affected (a lot).
Nose up, or nose down does not make so much of a difference, but side-to-side is critical.

Thanks for the responses. I will start with 2 bar as this seems to be common.
It was well below that level
Adjust as the passenger requires !

The pressure gradually drops over a year down to about 1.2 bar then I pump mine up to 2 bar. Repeat.

I use 2 bar and have replaced the units' mounting bolts with dome headed ones. On too low pressures the heads of ordinary bolts seem to dig into the bellows of the suspension units. Hope this helps, Smithee

Re: Warwick Duo Air suspension
I think that's why the min pressure is 1.5Bar, believe that's been sorted now

Hopefully your dome headed bolts are high tensile!Smithee wrote:I use 2 bar and have replaced the units' mounting bolts with dome headed ones. On too low pressures the heads of ordinary bolts seem to dig into the bellows of the suspension units. Hope this helps, Smithee

Re: Warwick Duo Air suspension
Feedback. Set the pressure at 2bar, as advised by many, and had an afternoon up in the Denbigh moors area. This included some off-road stuff. Ride quality much improved. Nudged the pressure just above 2bar (say 2.25) for the return home and found this even better.
So that's where it stays and many thanks for the helpful responses recorded above.
Keith
PS Can anyone advise on how to change KMRTOPAZ to KMRDuo ?
