Rubbish bin
My 2017 Symbol has no bin. I need something?? Buy a loose one and store it in the loo while travelling?? Any other bright ideas welcomed.

Not what you are after maybe but this is what we use in the Symbol. £3 from Argos if I remember.
Edit... looks like they are now a fiver!

We use a small food waste caddy, with a lid, which fits in a cupboard easily. Usually enough for 2/3 days before needing emptied. We do bring recyclables home though, so, they're kept separately.

That is what it’s designed for but a black bin bag fits inside perfectly.
Paul, that bin would last us about an hour before it would be full
Guess we all have different needs!

Re: Rubbish bin
Obviously it's not big enough for bottles and milk plastic bottles, we take those to the recycling bins on site but with a liner it's fine for scrap food .Dbvwt wrote:North Wales Etonite wrote:Might be good for clothes

Re: Rubbish bin
In our Duetto ( similar to Symbol) we used the narrow plastic box part of an old paper shredder- most cheap carrier bags fit it for lining.
We drilled a hole through one edge near the top and hang it from part of back door lock using a metal S hook.
No valuable floor space lost!

We have a half round frame with lid and a plastic bag (or carrier bag) is secured by a built in bungee. The used to be popular in caravan accessory shops. We have had it 19 years so possibly no longr made. It is fixed on the inside of the habitation door.

when it finally broke we replaced it with one of these as it takes up less room, especially when not in use:

All motorhome mods need to have 3 qualities, lightness, cheapness and practicality, this, IMHO meets all 3!!
The rubber band at the bottom is vital BTW!

We use a skirt clothes hanger - the one with a clip each end. Clip on a rubbish bag and hang up. Usually free when you buy a skirt or trousers!
