Mystery cable Empty Mystery cable

Post by Beagle Tue Jul 21, 2020 4:53 pm

Noticed on our A/S Beckford a thin cable hanging down, just to the right of the fresh tank drain valve.  One end of the cable is attached there and has a black screw-on cap.  The other end is just dangling but looks as though it could stretch to the top of the fresh tank.  Anyone know what it's for?  confused3

Possibly the connection to the spare wheel if one fitted to check the air pressure in the spare tyre

Yes!  It is indeed an arrangement for checking the spare wheel pressure, without having to crawl underneath.  Mystery solved thanks!
