EC700 totally dead
How to breath life into a dead control panel in a Warwick XL
Today my EC700 died and dealer can't get it to work so has ordered a new one. Says it could be weeks before a new oanel arrives.
I saw this on a AS forum so thought it worth a try as I was going away for a few days and did not want to cancel.
If you are on hook up, unplug from van.
Make sure small black button in pressed in on power control unit.
Start vehicle engine.
Hold down the 2 toggle switches behind the sliding side door until the awning and low level floor lights come on. Approx 1 minute.
Turn engine off and you will find all your 12v electrics work.
Pump, lights, gas lighter, toilet flush etc.
Panel will still be blank but at least you can still use 12v electrics

Useful tip to know. Many thanks. Did that work for you? Was it just the screen that failed or the controller that is under the oven in my Nuevo?

FYI I have recently had 2 new EC480 control panels fitted. One from AS, one from Sargent. They both came next day.Pete1950 wrote:

So regardless of whether your van is under 12 months old (and the dealer is working with Sargent), or 13 to 36 months old (in which case AS) then he should have the panel this week.
PS Sargent say AS are sending out panels with old firmware.
Are you from the Ducati forum?

Thanks, a really useful tip which I have logged for future reference if needed. As a matter of interest do you know if the 12v is then running from the vehicle battery or the leisure battery? And did you, Will you rebook up to EHU?
