Coffee cup holders
Hi I We went out on our first long trip today, great fun and can’t wait very soon for nights away. We did find that our cab has no coffee cup holders.
Anybody fitted cup / bottle holders?

Re: Coffee cup holders
Mirrorguard did them , I purchased one for or Warwick last year, check with them to see if it's suitable for your model, it's a snack tray with two cup holders at the side. Fits into the pull down laptop draw in the centre of the front cabJohnuready wrote:Hi I We went out on our first long trip today, great fun and can’t wait very soon for nights away. Now I may be ascribing something to Gromit which might be a figment of my imagination, but I seem to remember that he did (another) nifty mod to the door pocket whereby to hold a drink container. My ability to search the site not being a patch on PaulMold's, I can't find that thread of a few years back.
Maybe Gromit will see this and respond (if only to tell me that my senility is advancing in direct proportion to the additional quantity of red wine enjoyed daily during lockdown.... )

Re: Coffee cup holders
Watch out! This is my personal look at these consoles.
I bought one, sold it after a week on eBay.
It just got in the way, found it cut down on space and storage and was not really needed.
As I say that is my way of thinking, you may like it, but not for us and the dog.

That would be a better option. Just seen this post after I did mine above.burlingtonboaby wrote:Mirrorguard did them , I purchased one for or Warwick last year, check with them to see if it's suitable for your model, it's a snack tray with two cup holders at the side. Re: Coffee cup holders
You may be physically senile Cymro, but the old grey matter is still working well!
It was cycle bottle cages fitted inside the top rear of the door pockets.
We carry water in cycle bottles which are (by design) very easy to drink from with one hand. With obvious caution I can take a quick drink while driving - and before I'm pilloried, that's far safer than lighting up and smoking a fag!!
Without the cages the bottle falls to the bottom of the door pocket where I can't reach it. Plus it's easy to return the bottle to the cage without taking my eyes off the road.

Phew!
Risking my enhanced reputation for moderate memory, wasn't there a photo of the door-pocket cage? May help the Original Poster.

Probably, but I've no idea where it is now.Cymro wrote:Phew!

The cage is sited inside the door pocket at the rear, as high as possible, and simply fixed with a couple of small nuts and bolts.
Even Hog could manage it from that description!
